Universal Credit 1: Eligibility, Structure and Application Process

This half-day interactive online-course is for anyone new to advising on Universal Credit, and requires no prior knowledge.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand how UC has been rolled out and which legacy benefits are affected

• Identify who can and cannot claim Universal Credit

• Understand the structure of universal credit, and which elements should be included for which claimants.

• Guide a client through making a claim

• Explain how Regular Assessment Periods work

• Understand the impact of changes of circumstances

• Recognise the impact of Advance Payments of UC

Individual Delegate: £25.00

Block Booking Five Delegates: £119.00

Joining Instructions

A Zoom Link and electronic copies of the handouts will be emailed to delegates (or Training Manager for bulk bookings) no less than one week before the course.

Cancellation

The Customer may cancel Individual Bookings with the following penalties:

·         More than 21 days before the course date, No charge.

·         More than 7 days and less than 21 days before the course date, 50% charge

·         7 days or less before the course date, 100% charge

·         The customer may substitute one delegate for another at no notice.
