Introduction to Debt Advice Part 1: Exploration, Emergencies, and Budgeting Advice

This half-day interactive online-course provides a practical overview of the early stages of the debt advice model, using case studies and examples to bring to life the compulsory e-learning for Initial Contact and Support Levels of debt advice. We will look at the importance of exploring the client's situation fully so that any advice given is based on a full, accurate and sustainable financial statement.  We look at identifying and advising on emergencies, checking and challenging liability and developing a full, accurate and sustainable financial statement.

Please note that this course is not accredited debt learning - it is designed to complement accredited learning by bringing it to life in an interactive learning environment.

Joining Instructions

A Zoom Link and electronic copies of the handouts will be emailed to delegates (or Training Manager for bulk bookings) no less than one week before the course.

Cancellation

The Customer may cancel Individual Bookings with the following penalties:

·         More than 21 days before the course date, No charge.

·         More than 7 days and less than 21 days before the course date, 50% charge

·         7 days or less before the course date, 100% charge

·         The customer may substitute one delegate for another at no notice.
